Dr. Matteo Chiapasco is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, with an MD from the University of Milan. He is a Professor and Head-Unit of Oral Surgery at the University of Milan and Visiting professor at Loma Linda University and University of Lisbon. He is on the editorial board and an expert for several prestigious international journals and the author of over 400 publications in national and international journals and 15 books on oral and maxillofacial surgery. 

Dr. Chiapasco practices oral and maxillofacial surgery, implant surgery, reconstructive surgery of the facial skeleton for implantological purposes and facial dysmorphic surgery as a freelancer at the Narcodont center in Milan, where he collaborates with a group of colleagues who are experts in dentistry, orthodontics, otorhinolaryngology and facial cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Young completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also served as the Administrative Chief Resident. His exceptional training and exposure to multiple community hospitals serving diverse populations have afforded him invaluable experience and knowledge in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Young’s surgical expertise includes dentoalveolar surgery, implants, and bone grafting, orthognathic surgery maxillofacial trauma and reconstructions, oral pathology, and temporomandibular joint surgery.

With over 22 years of experience in the dental field, Kyle L. Summerford has honed a unique approach to case presentation and patient acceptance. As a seasoned dental office manager and financial dental consultant, he leverages his expert knowledge to assist both new and struggling dental practices. Through his education programs, Mr. Summerford empowers staff members with effective patient education skills and persuasion techniques, significantly enhancing overall case acceptance rates.

Driven by a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge within the dental community, Mr. Summerford has lectured at numerous Continuing Education (CE) events and prestigious academic institutions, including Stony Brook University, the New York City County Dental Society, and Georgia Regents University. His expertise is further recognized through his self-authored articles in his renowned dental coding column, “Dental Coding with Kyle.”

Mr. Summerford is also the founder of the Dental Office Managers Community and Dentalofficemanagers.com.  These platforms serve as invaluable resources for dental professionals, fostering connections and facilitating the exchange of knowledge among peers.

FOUNDER, CEO AND CHAIRMAN, LYNCH BIOLOGICS, LLC

Dr. Lynch is an accomplished CEO, translational scientist, and entrepreneur. He graduated from the dual degree program at Harvard Medical and Dental Schools with a DMSc and specialty certification in periodontology, respectively, in 1989, and served as a member of the faculty until 1995 at which time he transitioned into the industry.

He has founded and led several medical device and biotechnology companies, and invented and/or played a key role in the development of many of the leading regenerative brands in dentistry including BioOss®, BioGide® and GEM 21S®, as well as in orthopedics including Augment® Bone Graft and Augment Injectable® Bone Graft. He was also the founder and CEO of BioMimetic Therapeutics which he grew into a publicly-traded company on Nasdaq [BMTI], and sold in 2013 for approximately $400 million.

He currently serves on the governing Board of Directors of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a top 10-15 medical center in the United States with approximately 28,000 employees and $6 billion in annual revenues, where has chaired both the Audit & Compliance Committee and the Compensation & Leadership Development Committee. He is currently the CEO and Chairman of Lynch Biologics, LLC, serves on several Boards of private biotechnology companies, and is the Chairman of the BioTN Foundation, a nonprofit foundation he and his wife Leslie started in 2007 to promote k-12 STEM education. He is the author of >250 publications and patents, mostly in the regenerative dentistry and medicine fields, as well as the editor of two books on tissue engineering.
